I had not used any products specifically for the scalp before using Cria. I occasionally do a hot oil treatment specifically with olive oil because that's something that my mother and my grandmother would have us do. I have used some scalp serums and masks like Mudmasky and another one from actress Taraji P Henson. They came in beauty boxes that I subscribe to. But none of them have the benefits that your hair serum has. A few days before you emailed me my daughter and I were actually talking about your hair serum (Cria) and she brought up your line. She had used your shampoo and conditioner before and to date says it was the best ever!

Curl 3b/3c/4a, low/medium porosity, fine stand thickness. I wash/style hair weekly because it gets easily tangled/matted, dry. I also have Inflammation and tightness due to a dry scalp. The inflammation of the scalp was basically dandruff and itching. Sometimes my head itches so much that I scratch hard enough to leave a sore. I'm blaming this on other shampoos and conditioners and perhaps maybe chlorine in the water. I never had a bald spot but what I did have was thinning around my hairline in the front. I know some shedding is normal, but I was just losing way too much. I could just be sitting at my desk and run my fingers through my hair and have some hair shed right then and even break.

The booster serum is a must-have for me because after one use it cured my itchy scalp and any flaking I had. But I was very impressed with the oil's protective qualities. I decided to bleach my hair (twice) and I put the serum (oil) on my hair and used the bleach over it. My hair has no signs of damage from the bleach. Typically, it would feel like straw. I have also noticed thicker fuller hair, especially on the sides which were thinning. My daughter used all your products. She is multi-racial and has type 3c hair. She typically must use multiple products to moisturize and define her curls. When she used your shampoo and conditioner, she came out of the shower with her mouth wide open in surprise. She’s never been able to detangle her hair before using your products and her curls were super defined, light and bouncy! Firstly, many shampoos (I tried hundreds in my lifetime) either leave your hair overly stripped or with some heavy residue. When I first opened your shampoo and smelled it, I thought it was going to leave my hair feeling dry and stripped. But that was far from the case, my hair felt amazing, it felt clean so did my scalp. It also felt nourished even before I used the conditioner. The conditioner is great too because lots of conditioners leave your hair feeling weighed down. Not yours, not yours! Also, one more thing, I color my hair with semi-permanent color and your shampoo does not seem to make the hair fade. no color was washing down the drain. It removed the product (Booster) without stripping hair too. I saw softer hair with healthy ends, little to no matting, easy detangling. no build-up at all.
