Main Challenge: Hair thinning, shedding, scalp itchiness due to work stress and trauma.

PRE-COVID: Didn’t put much thought in any rituals. More on the go. I went to work, came home, took a shower, went to bed. I’m 45, don’t have any children. Myself and my dog. My family is local. For well over a year, I’ve been very sick. I lost a lot of hair. I didn’t do any rituals. But I had to start with therapy including journaling and meditation. Didn’t have time for massages or any self-care rituals, honestly.

I’ve used ROGAINE for my hair loss. But it made my hair appear crunchy, dry, and irritated my scalp. If I put it on during the day, I would scratch my scalp all day and if I put it on night, I’d wake up in the middle of the night scratching my scalp. I had to get up and add coconut oil to find some relief, even though it was short-lived. Rogaine affected my skin too. I started getting hormonal acne that I had to see a dermatologist for.

Cria helped me in 3 ways: I saw hair growth along my hair line—baby hair, where I’d lost the core of it. Hair was a lot softer and I didn’t even need to put any conditioner! The smell, of course, helped me sleep faster. I always use it overnight and then wash it off in the morning. It’s something very soothing for me—has become an end-of-the-day routine to help me relax in the evening and then to stay asleep throughout the night. I use it independently. I don’t have to use it with any other product with Cria, natural or not. Life happened las year and Cria went out of my life too. But then you popped back in with a question and concern that led me back to Cria. I bought it yesterday on Amazon. My scalp has been irritated, so itchy and as soon as I applied Cria, it was like “ahhhh”—I was back home. It felt so good. It feels amazing today. These little things make a difference, you know.!

I used to work with cancer patients and would recommend Cria to them a lot. Some purchased it. They used it after they stopped their chemotherapy. Because it was natural and wouldn’t do any harm. And helped their hair grow back, they said! I recommended it to my brother. You guys are based out of Austin, and he lives in Austin. I told him to use it on his beard. He doesn’t need to grow it, only to soften it and he doesn’t like a lot of beard products because they have strong smells. Cria not only made his beard soft but manageable. And like me, he loved the smell! I even recommended Cria to my dermatologist—they only prescribe the brands they want to—but mine said—if it doesn’t harm you, you can use it!

One thing I regret was not being consistent with Cria. If I had never stopped (using) it, then I wouldn’t have had the extreme hair loss, dryness of scalp. Something else I’ve learned--don’t look for the next product. When you find something that works, stick with it. Not only that, but more ingredients also don’t equal a better product. You mentioned menopause—I’m pre-menopause and that’s affecting my eyebrows too! I would love Cria for my brows! Really hope, you all stick around for a long time!

I love to crochet, kickbox and read. I like to doodle but ‘am not very good at it. It’s calming, though.
